The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Borno command, says it has arrested Ahmed Alibe, 21, for posing as a soldier and molesting members of the public.

Ibrahim Abdullahi, the corps commandant, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri that Alibe was arrested on March 29 at the Nasara computer centre at the computer village.

Abdullahi said that the suspect, who was in military uniform, was seen harassing and intimidating candidates on the queue for the forthcoming JAMB-organised Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration.
